Lighter and Axiom Launch EVM-Compatible Rollup

Lighter has announced a partnership with Axiom to launch the Lighter EVM, an EVM equivalent Rollup that integrates seamlessly with Lighter’s ecosystem. This new development will enable general-purpose applications to merge with Lighter’s markets and liquidity efficiently, offering low-latency operations. The Lighter EVM will be secured by OpenVM zkVM, ensuring compatibility with Lighter’s core financial engine, which underpins trading platforms and spot trading.
