Alibaba’s Qwen3-Max-Thinking Matches GPT-5.2 Performance

Alibaba has launched its latest AI reasoning model, Qwen3-Max-Thinking, which boasts over one trillion parameters and was trained on 36 trillion tokens of pre-training data. The model’s performance aligns with leading AI models such as GPT-5.2-Thinking, Claude Opus 4.5, and Gemini 3 Pro. Qwen3-Max-Thinking excelled in 19 benchmark tests, demonstrating its capabilities in factual knowledge, complex reasoning, instruction following, human preference alignment, and agent functionalities.
