Trump Comments on U.S. Military Casualties in Iran Conflict

In a phone interview with the Daily Mail, Trump addressed the recent deaths of three U.S. soldiers in the Iran conflict, marking the first military casualties of his second term. Trump acknowledged the potential for recurring casualties, stating, “Unfortunately, this situation can happen. Casualties may occur repeatedly and could happen again.” He projected the timeline for operations against Iran to be “about four weeks, or less,” noting that similar past actions typically required around four weeks. Trump emphasized that the outcomes of the attacks so far have not surprised him.
