Bitwise Acquires Chorus One to Boost Staking Capabilities

Bitwise, a leading crypto asset management firm, has acquired Chorus One, a staking service provider managing over $2.2 billion in staked assets. This strategic acquisition will enable Bitwise to expand its staking capabilities to more than 30 blockchain networks, including Solana, Hyperliquid, Monad, Avalanche, and Sui. The integration will see Chorus One’s 50 employees join Bitwise Onchain Solutions, a division already managing billions in staked crypto assets.

Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley emphasized the significance of staking as a growth opportunity for the firm’s clients, who hold spot crypto assets. Staking allows token holders to earn annualized rewards ranging from 2% to 10% by locking up their tokens, making it an attractive option for investors seeking additional returns.
