XRP Whales Accumulate 3.17 Billion Tokens Amid Market Downtu

XRP whales holding between 10 million and 100 million tokens have amassed 3.17 billion XRP, marking their largest supply share in history. This accumulation, valued at $4.5 billion, began in October 2025 as the market downturn intensified. These whales now control 17.04% of the circulating XRP supply, up from 12.21% in October.

The accumulation trend coincides with a broader market decline, with XRP’s price dropping 61.2% from its July 2025 high of $3.66 to $1.42. Despite the bearish market, these whales have increased their holdings significantly, particularly between November 8 and 28, 2025, when they added 2.49 billion XRP. Meanwhile, smaller whales holding between 100,000 and 10 million tokens have distributed 3 billion XRP since October 2025, suggesting a possible redistribution of holdings.
