Peter Schiff Warns of Intensifying Stagflation

Economist Peter Schiff has highlighted a significant slowdown in the economy, noting that GDP growth has decelerated to 1.4% from a previous 4.4%. Additionally, the Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) index rose by 0.4% in December on a month-over-month basis. Schiff warns that these indicators suggest increasing stagflation pressures, a scenario where inflation remains high despite stagnant economic growth.
