Robinhood’s January Crypto Trading Volume Reaches $22.9 Bill

Robinhood reported a cryptocurrency trading volume of $22.9 billion for January 2026, marking an 8% increase from the previous month and a 12% rise year-over-year. The trading activity included $8.7 billion on the Robinhood app and $14.2 billion on Bitstamp. The platform’s total assets reached $324 billion, reflecting a 1% sequential increase and a 59% year-over-year growth.

Additionally, Robinhood’s stock notional trading volume rose to $227.3 billion, up 21% sequentially. The company also executed 300 million event contract trades, a 17% increase from the previous month. As of February 17, Robinhood repurchased approximately 2.1 million Class A common shares, totaling $173 million, more than doubling the repurchases from the fourth quarter of 2025.
