Base Integrates Network Components, Increases Upgrade Freque

Base has announced plans to integrate key network components into a unified codebase, requiring node operators to follow Base’s release versions instead of Optimism’s. This move aims to increase the upgrade frequency from three to six times annually. Additionally, future hard forks will transition from optimistic proofs to TEE/ZK proofs while maintaining Stage 1 Rollup status. The Base Security Council will also see the addition of independent signatories.
