Steak ‘n Shake to Offer Bitcoin Bonuses to Employees

Steak ‘n Shake, a U.S. fast-food chain, will begin offering Bitcoin bonuses to its hourly employees starting March 1. Employees will receive an additional $0.21 in Bitcoin for every hour worked, with the bonuses being subject to a two-year vesting period before they can be claimed. This initiative is supported by the Bitcoin rewards app Fold.

The move follows Steak ‘n Shake’s recent investment of $10 million in Bitcoin as part of its strategic Bitcoin reserve plan, highlighting the company’s growing commitment to cryptocurrency.
